REQUEST SERVICE!

Choosing to install a pool on your property can be an exciting time for you and your family, as doing so provides a great way to cool off on hot, sunny days and enjoy some exercise. Of course, while swimming is mostly fun and games, there’s still some maintenance to be aware of and prepared for when the time comes.

Keeping your pool clean and swimmers healthy One important aspect of the repair process involves making sure your pool’s filtration system is working adequately so the water remains clean. Dirty water may expose you and your family to dangerous microbes that could make you sick or cause a rash to develop. We understand that this is the last thing you want to worry about while splashing around under the sun.

Color and clarity are good indicators of the cleanliness of a pool, and when either look a little off, it may be time to let the professionals check out your filtration system and perform any necessary repairs.

Don’t let small details ruin your pool’s quality Like anything that isn’t brand-spanking new, over time, pools endure a great amount of wear and tear. Although this may seem natural, it should not be overlooked. Pool owners may want to try to recognize when it’s time to spruce up their pool. Decks, lights and tiles may need to be fixed from season to season, even if there are only small cracks or chips present. Repairing these issues sooner rather than later can save you from larger problems in the long-run and keep your pool running smoothly.

Weekly Pool Service,

We specialize in weekly pool service. Something we pride ourselves in is the consistency we provide in our weekly visit. You will always know which day our Pool Tech will be stopping by and you can always be assured that they will leave your pools looking clean and clear. Weekly service includes, netting and brushing, chemical checks, chlorine tabs as necessary, Backwashing when applicable, cleaning out the pump baskets & skimmer baskets, and of course keeping your pool clean and clear.

Plumbing Replacement,

Pipes don't to last forever, especially with that blazing sun on them all day. This is why it’s natural to find yourself in need of replacing your pool’s plumbing. Luckily, you’ve come to the right place. Just give us a call and we will do the digging, cutting, and glueing so you don't have to.

Lights,

Pool Lights provide a much more relaxing and enjoyable time in your pool. We are more than happy to replace or change out your old or broken pool light. Give us a quick call and we will get your pool light back up and shinning. We can also install an LED light thats more energy efficient, as well as a color changing option.

Tile Cleaning,

Tile can make or break the experience or feel of your pool. With our hard water in Arizona it's only natural for build up to appear on your tile over time. if your pool has a line around it, we can make it look good as new with our tile cleaning equipment! We recommend cleaning the tile once a year if you want to keep your pool in tip top shape. Calcium buildup is a common problem in Phoenix and requires special equipment to remove it without damaging any of the tiles. It is best to schedule a tile cleaning with us before you begin using your pool regularly for the summer, but it can be done at any time of the year.

Salt Systems,

Salt systems are a great way to minimize the chlorine spikes in your pools and ensure a consistent and steady way to chlorinate your pool. Are you looking to have a salt system installed? Or, have you noticed any problems with your current salt system? If so, Blue Iguana Pools is here to help. We can get your salt cell back up and running, or install a new salt cell if you currently don't have one.

Sand Changes,

As a pool owner, it is recommended that every three to five years, you’ll need to change the sand in your swimming pool filter in order to keep it working efficiently. Over time, sand loses its roughness, which is an attribute that makes it good at the filtration process. When the sand in your pool becomes smooth, your filtration system will be less effective, which in turn could cause cloudy water or algae to appear in your pool. Give us a call if you are past due on changing the sand out in your filter or if you are seeing cloudiness in your pool.

Cartridge Cleaning,

Cartridge filters are not able to be backwashed, therefore need to be disassembled at least every six months to ensure proper filtration and to make sure your pump isn't overloaded, which can cause it to wear faster. Cleaning a Cartridge filter is a very time consuming task, that we can take care of for you!

Pool Draining,

As your pool water evaporates over time, it can leave minerals and contaminates gained from those who swim in it. These minerals and contaminates can cause the chemical balance in your pool to go out of a "safe for swimming" range. When this happens we recommend draining part or all of your pool, replacing it with fresh water, in order to get those chemical levels back to normal range and safe for everyone to swim in.

Part of being a pool owner is managing the quality of the water. Over time, it’s natural for pool water to evaporate. However, this leaves minerals and contaminants, such as sunscreen, dust and pool-maintenance chemicals, to become more concentrated than normal. This can make it difficult to balance the chemical levels in your pool, which is why it’s important to periodically drain old water and refill it with fresh water. Doing so can be a difficult task for pool owners, which is why we ready to help.

Acid Washing,

Like patio furniture and other outdoor accessories, your pool will inevitably get dirty. To keep it clean, you may want to consider letting the professionals acid wash your pool. This process strips the top layer of plaster to reveal fresh plaster beneath – however this can only be done during the winter months. Pebble pools can be brought back to life with an acid wash and can be done at any time of the year.

Heaters,

Heaters are the best thing for you to be able to enjoy your pool any time of the year! If you currently have a heater installed, it's always a good idea to have it checked up at least once a year to ensure other problems don't arise. If your heater has been damaged or isn't functioning properly, Give us a call to schedule a Repair Tech to take a look at it. If you don’t have a heater and are interested in keeping your pool warm all year, give us a call today for your free quote.

Leak Repair,

Leaks are a pool owner’s worst nightmare. The good news is that leaks can be easily fixed. Pool leaks can cost you lots of money on your water bill each month you don't take care of it. Even if your not sure if it is leaking, feel free to give us a call.

Pumps, Motors and Filters,

We understand that over time, things happen and Pumps, motors and filters wear out or break down. These are crucial to the operation of your pool and unfortunately, they can malfunction. We wish they could last forever with no problem but thankfully were here to help when they do happen.

D.E. Teardown's,

Diatomaceous Earth filters also need to be disassembled every year on average. (D.E.) filters are one of the best ways to keep your pool clean and clear, but just like cartridge filters they need maintenance in order to keep them running smooth. These filters should be backwashed once a month in a edition to the yearly teardown. We have trained Techs that are experienced with D.E. filters and know how to spot leaks if there be any.
